The HAH Awards

The Haunters Against Hate Awards are presented to three individuals for their importance to HAH.

There is the Legacy Award, which is presented to a celebrity who has shown advocacy for HAH and LGBTQ rights. In 2021, the award went to Lori Cardille (George A. Romero's "Day of the Dead").

The Haunter of the Year Award is presented to the haunter who has shown resilience against hate and vitriol towards/in the haunt community and stood up to it. 2021's recipient was Greg Sweere ("Munki") from Burial Chamber Haunted Complex in Neenah, Wisconsin. And finally there is the Jesse McDonald HAH Memorial Award that goes to the individual who has shown the compassion, love and acceptance of what HAH is all about. Ashley DeCillo of Zombie Army Productions received that award in 2021 for her caring of fellow haunters.

2022 Awards are being presented to:

LEGACY AWARD: Brandon Crane (Stephen King's IT) and Ricky Vitus (VitusFX)

HAH HAUNTER OF THE YEAR AWARD: Tommy Clancy (HellsGate Haunted House)

JESSE MCDONALD MEMORIAL AWARD: Posthumously to Brandon Shirley (American Horrorplex)
